The Coastal Road heading south takes you to Alnmouth with it's delightful village and long sandy beach, followed by Warkworth on the River Coquet and onto Amble situated beside the sea. Here you will discover a small fishing harbour with fresh fish landed daily supplying quality local restaurants, a number of Pods of local people selling art, jewellry, gifts and refreshments. Pop into the Lobster Hatchery and discover how the breeding programme is helping to grow and release the young lobsters back into the sea when they have a much increased chance of survival.
